Keynote Speaker Dr. Paul Chabot’s significant presentations include keynotes at the U.S. Naval Academy, WestPoint Academy, as well as a number of White House conferences, nationwide. He has provided keynote speeches in 48-states and instructed at the University of Southern California and is an adjunct professor at California Baptist University. Paul has been a guest on HBO, CNN, Fox News, Newsmax, BBC, PBS, ABC CBS, Current,and Huffington Post, quoted in local, national, and international print media, radio, and TV including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Paul is often called upon for providing expertise in organizational management and leadership, motivation, community development, public safety, public relations, terrorism, and related topics. He is the author of Eternal Battle against Evil, is the President of Chabot Strategies, L.L.C. He is an Iraq war veteran and began his military intelligence career in 2001, serving first at the Office of Naval Intelligence, later with the Defense Intelligence Agency, in conjunction with an assignment in the Pentagon working for the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the National Military Command Center assessing immediate national security threats. In 2008, Paul returned from Iraq where he served as an intelligence officer with Joint Special Operations Forces. Paul retired with 21 years of service at the rank of Commander. He is the recipient of the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, three Navy Commendation Medals, Navy Achievement Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal, among other campaign medals and ribbons, including two Joint Meritorious Unit Awards. Paul Chabot is a retired deputy sheriff reserve with 21 years of experience and was appointed by the California Governor and confirmed by the Senate as Commissioner to the State Parole Board for three consecutive terms. Federally, he served for Congressman Jerry Lewis and was later selected for the Nation’s prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship Program working for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. He was promoted to White House Senior Advisor for Law Enforcement, Justice and Drug Control Programs. During his nearly 6-years in the White House, he completed two rotational assignments, one with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles targeting methamphetamine production and one later with the U.S. State Department Office of Inspector General, assessing counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics programs. Paul founded a number of non profits and for-profit corporations, including Coalition for a Drug-Free California, Coalition for a Drug-Free Texas, Chabot Strategies, LLC, Move Right USA, among others. He is a licensed real estate agent and licensed drug prevention specialist. He is an adjunct professor instruction doctoral students of public administration and has served on a number of dissertation defense committees. Paul holds a B.A. in administration from California State University at San Bernardino, a M.A. in public administration from the University of Southern California (USC), and a doctorate (Ed. D) in executive leadership from George Washington University. Paul holds a certificate in legislative studies from Georgetown University a certificate from USC’s Delinquency Control Institute a certificate from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Reserve Academy and anti-gang credential certificate from the U.S. State Department Foreign Service Institute for International Law Enforcement Affairs an entrepreneurship certificate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and an entrepreneurship certificate from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management.
